As noted in the 'value for money' section, I'll revise my sentiments/observations as necessary.Įdit: after a few days of use, another observation. Does exactly what I wanted it to do and did not cost an arm and a leg. Just over 24 hours in, very pleased with this mouse. And kudos to Amazon for putting that box in flat-rate shipping bag, rather than another cardboard box stuffed with packing peanuts or bubble wrap. Kudos to Havit for only using what was necessary to contain the mouse, accessories and paperwork. Oh, also worth noting: minimal product packaging. The weight is less a concern in general, as it's well allocated. Possibly relevant to your interests: this mouse weighs slightly more than the Razer Naga Hex v1 that was my staple for several years before. Not so slippery as to impact my in-game performance, but it will absolutely take some getting used to. More importantly, it feels a bit slick (this includes the thumb-buttons on both plates). Yeah, it's a cosmetic thing that doesn't really matter to me, but that sort of thing could be an issue for others. Over all, I have only two gripes with this mouse. The feel, texture and responsiveness of the mouse wheel are good, as well. Easy to adjust DPI (sensitivity color-coded for ease of use). All buttons functional and responsive some of the buttons on the mmo/moba plate aren't quite as easy to reach as on other mouses (mice?) of this kind, but that's less a problem and more a matter of familiarity. For now, 5/5įor gaming: Still putting it through it's paces, but so far so good. If something changes in this regard, I'll revisit this portion. Build quality seems more than reasonable, but this review is going up with ~24 hours use.
Given the options it provides and the fact that it's plug-n-play right out of the box make it tough to beat on the value side. Value for money: Was $28.99 at time of purchase. The additional panels provide options for grip type/finger rest: the mmo/moba panel has a built-in place to rest your thumb, while the removable plate for the ring finger could help people with bigger hands or different grip styles. Specific features Amazon asked me to rate:Ĭomfort: It's easy to handle and has no edges or protuberances that make holding/using problematic or fatigue-inducing.
